Do I need a credit card?
No. You only add a card if you upgrade or buy credit for paid models.
How do I compare two AI models?
Pick a model in the message box, click Compare and choose a second one. Both answer the same message side by side, and each answer shows its own tokens and cost.
Which models are free?
The list changes, so the models page keeps the current one. See the current free models.
How do paid models work?
Add credit and pay as you go, per token. You'll see the cost under every answer. Or bring your own provider keys and pay your provider directly.
Where's Gate Chat after I sign up?
Signing up takes you to your Gate dashboard. Open Gate Chat from the menu and ask your first question.
