Desktop app for Gate AI
Gate Connect is a small menu-bar app that points the AI tools you already use at Gate, with no code and no config. Sign in once, click Connect next to a tool, and its requests start flowing through Gate: screened for attacks, recorded, and tracked for cost.
No setup files
The usual way to route a tool through a gateway means digging through settings, editing configuration files, and pasting keys in exactly the right place without a typo. Gate Connect does all of that for you. Pick a tool, click Connect, and you are done.

Three steps, about a minute
Download the app for your computer and open it. It lives in your menu bar, out of the way until you need it.
Sign in once. Gate Connect finds the supported tools you already have installed, so there is nothing to look up.
Click Connect next to a tool. From then on its requests flow through Gate. Disconnect anytime, just as easily.

For the terminal
Gate Connect ships with a gate-connect
command that does everything the app does. Same connectors, same one-step setup, easy to
script when you are rolling it out across a team.
Why route through Gate
Gate sits between your tools and the model providers. Every request is screened for attacks, recorded in a tamper-evident log, and tracked for cost, then forwarded to the provider you chose. Gate Connect is the easiest way on.
